Alas, it happens to us all…we get old! And the couch calls our name.
When our Divas reach retirement age, they move into a new phase of diva life. They no longer are actively racing but they are still active. They still receive the best care like they are on the race team without all the rigors that come with being a racer.
Retired divas get free play time, puppy training duty, vet visits, car rides, canicross runs, toys, and anything else their diva selves need.
Sponsoring a retired diva means you are helping with their financial needs keeping them happy and healthy all year long.
Frost
Frost runs in lead and swing position. She’s the main leader for the divas and is simply the best. She’s a sweetheart and loves everyone! Expect to hear her saying “wooooooo”! She is the mother to the Alaskan Stowaway Litter. She also received the Blue Harness Award in the 2022 Jr Iditarod for all her work running single lead.
Forest
Forest is a brother to Pond and joined the divas in April 2021! He’s a happy guy and very outgoing! He is always happy to see us and likes to bounce around! Forest runs lead or swing! He is the father to the Alaskan Stowaway Litter.
Kita
Kita retired last year after a diagnosis of arthritis in her elbow. She loves life in and out of the yard as she enjoys her retired years. She was known as the ultimate comeback kid after sitting out the 2021 season with a leg injury, she came back to race and finish all the 2022 races! She had a successful 2023 season before switching over to training puppies before retirement. Kita’s needs are still high as she ages.

Pache is a wheel dog simply due to his size. He is one tall boy! Pach is a sweet boy who is also ready for anything at anytime. Not much phases this guy. He’s got a great laid back personality.

Pond
Pond is an Iditarod veteran. She comes from Wade Marrs and Stump Jumpin Kennel in Alaska. She can run any position but is almost always in lead. She is our puppy trainer.
